The human garment and the human horizon
are so limited
so ever in flux and friction...
it's just that the stuff it (human garment & human horizon) is made of is very limited... and is capable of significant symbolic expression via human events and lifetime... but otherwise it's just very limited.
Sri Yukteswar said, "Human conduct is ever unreliable until anchored in the divine."
I understand his statement, but it is not saying that the human dimension is ever fully reliable, dependable, and possible of conveying the full dimension of life... I think the key is "anchored in divine"...
**********
Sometimes, we do not communicate (via typed words, or phone or such) simply because of the tide of events and responsibilities, and being a bit worn-down by all the noise of the human garment. The garment comes in many forms, and some garments are not designed for communicating in the same manner...
We need to consider patience with ourselves and others...
time is a great equalizer...
blah, blah, blah...
smile, smile, smile...

Nomaste2all It is very kind of you to spend time with us typing away when I realize you are on the computer all day because of your job. We all have unique spiritual paths yet I feel as though you understand my individual path better than any other friend. I suppose I have been blessed with friends from different paths to gain an expanded view of spirituality.
It has struck me as peculiar that some friends will only communicate by phone, others only on the internet and then still others by personally being with them. It is what it is. What made it that way is a long past. I just recognize that you really can't know someone just one way alone. It is something to be aware of in these fragmented relationships of modern conveniences.
I see time as an element of this reality that reshapes personality. Given time we adjust our views to be more considerate and
understanding. In prison people are placed their to let them think over their presumed crimes. In a way we are all prisoners.
Prisoners of time. Time is a limitation that is always placed on us in this reality. Meditation can often give the feeling of timelessness. Timelessness and bliss are two sides of the same coin. Bliss gives the feeling of being beyond the confines of time.
Perhaps what you are saying is that we just can't really rely on others till they are anchored in the divine. It has been a
struggle Namaste2All. I really would like to understand those who vanish out of our lives. Perhaps someday I will. In the meantime it
is important to recognize those who will always be there and be grateful for them is what I want to practice. I believe this has become my favorite thread by Comet...oops! ooooooooouuufff! whhhooaaa! Ha Ha Ha Comet! and thanks for your thoughts Namaste2All. I will try to keep them in my awareness.
