i received a lovely letter from Nomaste2all that includes Amma's story about carrying to much luggage. i would like to share it...

 ... may our moments be filled with a calming vibrance...
 
... may our Activity be gently, sublimely, observed as radiant flow...  Activity merely floating as a little sphere within the great Chitta (Divine) Heart Ocean...
 
... no longer shall we accept to shrink and condense to little sphere of (artificial light) Ego realm...

There is a story of a man on train.
 
This man was holding his baggage over his head, and walking anxiously up and down the train cars.  After many hours observing the man's peculiar behavior, a stranger asked the man why he was carrying his baggage.   The man replied, "I must get my baggage to the destination!"   The stranger smiled gently, with a loving heart, and said, "Dear Sir, you may set your baggage down and it will arrive safely."    The man did not sound convinced and looked puzzled.   The stranger continued, "The train is carrying you, me, and all of our baggage. Your efforts are only adding to your burden of travel.  We and our baggage shall all arrive via this train at our intended destination."    The man awakened, set down his baggage, and enjoyed being free of it's weight and burden.
 
Likewise, we need to consider to set down our baggage...?  Existence is like the train, and shall carry both us and our baggage !   This does not mean we toss our baggage off the train, but rather we are perfectly safe to set our baggage down... get out of the way, and stop wasting energy ? !
When it is time, we will know to pick up the baggage to carry it, unpack it, or give it away ?
