I'm working to compile a list of SRF Brothers, as I've yet to find one.   It's nice to be able to look at before or after meeting the Monastics.

Bro. Sadhananda: Left the ashram, married - continues close relations with Sri Daya Mata and SRF
Bro. Bhaktananda: Left this world in L.A.
Bro. Anandamoy: Lives at Mother Center, various duties including correspondence
Bro. Mokshananda: Left this world from Mother Center about 1983?
Bro. Premamoy: Left this world from Encinitas in 1990

Here is the list of the new SRF Brothers initiated yesterday, September 20, 2010, at Mother Center. The Brahmachari and Sannyas names are included (and explained). Congratulations to all!

BRAHMACHARI Alexander is now Brother Parthananda (Pārthānanda) - Bliss through the spirit of Arjuna (self-control); name given to Arjuna, son of Kunti, also known as Pritha.
BRAHMACHARI David is now Brother Jitananda (Jitānanda ~ Jit as in “sit”) - Bliss through victory (over the ego); the Victorious
BRAHMACHARI Joe is now Brother Saralananda (Saralānanda) - Bliss through simplicity
BRAHMACHARI Madhavananda is now Swami Madhavananda (Mādhavānanda) - Bliss through (devotion to) Madhava (epithet of Lord Krishna)
BRAHMACHARI Omkarananda is now Swami Omkarananda (Omkārānanda) - Bliss through the sacred and mystic syllable OM
BRAHMACHARI Raffaele is now Brother Sattvananda (Sattvānanda) - Bliss through the quality of Sattva ~ goodness
