Elephants rock... such a unique creature...
I remember seeing the Ganesha forms -- as man with elephant head and such, but I did not know the meaning... I learned that just as in Nature, the Elephant is prized by other animals for clearing paths into the heart of the otherwise unpenetratable dense jungle... so the diety form Ganesh represents the divine aspect of "Remover of Obstacles".. So that is pretty cool ! (I get it now)...
In India we worship Ganesh in any religious event so that no obstacles follows
