It worked! I'm only guessing and I'm not at all sure about what I am naming Lapis. Lapis often is dark blue with silver/gray veining of pryite. Namaste!

hi Yogini,
I see you have the image - just quick reference - if you look in the reply window, there is a picture icon, second from the left... under the B I etc
click on the picture icon and insert your image URL and you should get your picture to post, without the extra info below it .
Thank you for identifying the crystals.

vampire like tendencies There is much available on stones and crystals. Here's a little I've found on Bloodstone. The keywords are strength, courage, purification, vitality. It's considered a healing stone. Try googling Lapis and see if your stone matches any of the pictures you find. I don't have much experience working with stones but find them fascinating to hold and explore. I have an assortment of crystals in my puja space, it just feels right. But I'm still learning about how to use them.

Bloodstone (from Beginners Guide to Crystals - by Denise Whichello Brown) Bloodstone is a variety of chalcedony and its color is bright to dark green, spotted with flecks of red (red spots do not always appear in smaller pieces ) Its alternative name, heliotrope, comes from the Greek word for "solstice" indicating its healing abilities. It is sometimes also referred to as green jasper or blood jasper. Healing Properties Bloodstone has an affinity for the base chakra, providing solid support and stability. A stone of strength and courage, it is excellent for reinforcing our will to be on the physical plane, to exist in the here and now. Bloodstone is also useful for alleviating both physical and emotional problems associated with the heart, making it an essential crystal for those who experience difficulties in establishing strong and stable relationships. Traditionally used to treat blood disorders, it purifies and fortifies the blood making it ideal for anemia. One of the most effective of all stones for boosting the immune system, it should be placed on the thymus gland, above the heart. Because it reduces pus formation, neutralizes toxins, and stimulates the lymphatic system, bloodstone is highly recommended for healing inflammations and infections.
