Intuition with Friends

I have found that while many times I can trust intuition it is much more difficult with friends and lovers. I believe this is so because we can often wish for the best for those we care about and hope for the best. Though it may not turn out that way. Other friends may surprise us by coming back or help us in ways we do not expect. It is as though we have a much more difficult time assessing those close to us... their motives and possible actions. If we were able to most likely we would not be working out karma with them. We would not desire certain outcomes that influence our intuitive abilities. In contrast to this it is more easier to be rather detached from those we do not know so well so our instincts about them are not colored by our own personal interests about them.

I have found that the intuition of highly spiritual souls is most always much more developed. This is because spiritual attainment has the quality of knowing the motivation and outcome of actions and at a more developed stage also the ability to see into the divine plan for ourselves and others.

Sometimes we do realize the outcome and intuitively know what will happen in relationships however we still must go thru the motions and respond to the events unfolding otherwise we may be perceived quite differently. It is amazing to at times find out the expectations and desires of others as we patiently let events unfold around us without manipulating them with our own interests and drives.

Often we sense qualities or things in others....Like a sixth sense... we may find others uncomfortable about that ability. Although others may at times feel uncomfortable about it there are those who recognize it as a gift that has been developed. Similarly we also find people uncomfortable about other talents or gifts we are blessed with and we ourselves may be uncomfortable with the gifts and talents of others. This arises out of envy and can lead to jealousy but also can lead to the awareness we to can develop such gifts if we desire them enough and work at them.

It interests me that quite often animals are just as sensitive as people are. Especially dogs. I think that many of them sense emotions like anger and conflict in people. They also sense if someone likes them. While similar, cats are usually much more self centered although they are very receptive to nonintruding presences that like them.
