What is soul searching? The soul is found in the shashuma or thousand peddled lotus in the brain. We have descended in our consciousness to the lower three chakras. We are now trying to reascend to the higher chakras. We fell into ego consciousness. Then we fell into the cervical and then the heart center where we began to associate the feelings of the heart with emotions and the attachment to outer activities. We finally descended to the lower chakras where most of humanity resides. Most of us now are very mixed up and messed up with the world and with outer events and activities. We have become totally identified with the world and outer stimuli and thus give it reality and power over us.

This is a technique for going back up the spine and regaining consciousness of the heart chakra:
While breathing in imagine the energy going back up to the heart chakra from the lower centers at the bottom of the spine.

In the higher techniques of meditation, taught by for instance Amma and Yogananda, we learn how to bring the energy back into the spine and up the chakras to the third eye. We also bring the energy back and forth up and down the spine and the consciousness returns inward instead of being constantly identified outward in worldly activities and thoughts.

Yes Blue Nova  i have found it very difficult to bring that attention inwards without the help of meditation techniques. We are fortunate to have some of the best! Even some that seem to be a bit ahead of us spiritually... the third and fourth Kriyas.

Hey folks this is no dress rehearsal. The great comic book is open and you are just as much a part of it as me. Improvise your part the best you can! If you don't have a clue come to soul searching forum!

Sorry to hear that my lovely squirrel. I just wish you could imagine being cross-dressed. Just think what it could do for your image if you got out of the box a little! We could have done sooo much with that fluffy tail of yours! It would add a little spice to what is just a typical day.
