Do I think I’m special?

There has to be ‘Special people’ to make the show go on. And we all have a special service to perform here in this big performance called life. But when one becomes weary 😮‍💨 with the show; it’s time to recognize just how much we don’t know and who does know…I have also found that others I’ve known in my life thought at one time i was somehow special in their life. But many of them have also lost interest in my influence and have sometimes been disillusioned when they saw my flaws. It’s all just to show us what we really are and not what we attempted to accomplish and achieve.

Just want to relate this; I would go and see Brother Bhaktananda many Sundays and at special occasions. He always bowed to us individually and said; “Master Bless You” No ‘I’ there. I guess that says it it ALL.

Everyday I attempt to practice spirituality and many times I forget because the world presents a lot of temptations and illusions. Yet I’m back at it every time after finding I’ve been fooled many times by appearances instead of what’s really happening in my life. Am I much different than all others here who have an interest for what’s best for us but often get sidetracked?
