The issue of deployment of troops from the European states for peacekeeping is not an easy one. Also, it remains to be seen if it will be accepted by Russia. If not, what will be the guarantees? It's not an easy scenario and much depends on the leverage of Mr. Trump on Mr. Putin. I estimate that the odds of at least a temporary truce are good, although we can never know.
