I see the most challenging part of meditation for me is turning off the senses and getting into the astral spine. When the body actually dims and the soul reflections increase is when we are able to quiet the senses from their constant attention getting behaviors. This of course is all increased by our living habits. So there is really no quick solution. We have to work on ourselves in all life’s experiences to increase our meditation experiences and upliftment of consciousness.

As I was writing this blog I smelled something burning in the kitchen and it gives me a perfect example of awareness issues that need to be addressed in every day life that contribute to the wellbeing of our meditation. It was the rice cooking in the kitchen that had depleted the water in the pan.

The laughs on me and my awareness.

That's a built-in alarm awareness, the smell of burnt matter. It probably will supersede any other state, barring deep sleep or samhadi.
