It is yet to be seen what retribution Trump intends to take on his enemies as he has promised during his candidacy. A threat which was not echoed by Harris and her allies.
Steve, I may be wrong, but I don't think Mr. Trump will take any revenge other than firing people who were hostile to him. We are going to see, presently he seems focused on starting his program.
Also, as I see it the Democrat Elite did not need to allude to any revenge, since they tried to get revenge, in all ways from the start of Trump's first mandate. the tycoon was an outsider, not a career politician, who dared to challenge their political supremacy (and win).
No conspiracy intended, it is simply observation on how political things go. Something similar happened to an Italian premier years back.
In the end, judging from the premises, I wouldn't be so pessimistic about the future of this mandate. Some people, like Mrs. Gabbard, seem genuinely interested in serving the country.
Yes I have always found her and JFK Jr. Likable and there views a good contrast to the Democratic Party’s diversity. There always comes a time in our lives when we have to integrate the views of those we may disagree with into our own views. Your views about challenging and winning do not echo my own. I see life as a continuum, from one life to another. And, people who have no integrity of their own and only self interest as a motivator as eventually falling by the wayside, just as Nero, Hitler and Stalin are examples. There is a higher law that requires restitution and I would not like to be answerable to such a law despite momentary illusions of material power and delinquent behavioral ethics that flourish in the public domain. Let others learn from their own mistakes, I have enough of my own to be concerned 😟 with without fixating on those of others and this country’s. I find it interesting to know more about other countries since this last election. Perhaps 🤔 my attachment to living in this country for more than one lifetime is in itself an identity issue I myself need to loosen.
