Guess you’d say; there are things that stimulate you in life that have the dual characteristics of being helpful and not helpful to your health both at the same time. This applies to more than just food and drink but also sensuality and intimacy. Sunshine and and lack of Sun. Politics and apathy. Friendship and solitude. And the list continues.

We know that cigarettes and tobacco are unhealthy for us, but there are many things in life that have a dual effect on us. Finding a balance in their usage is a necessary requisite to not becoming addicted.
