You probably know me as the horror writer behind books like Carrie, IT, and The Shining.

Since I write horror novels for a living, I feel I have some authority when I say that four more years of Donald Trump in the White House would be an absolute nightmare.

Stephen King is known as a writer of horror stories, not as a clairvoyant.

The writer, the singers, the actors, they all tend to support Mrs. Harris.

What should we derive from that? That if Mr. Trump is defeated Americans will be singing all day, dancing all they, watching films and reading stories all day?

That's the same as Panem et circenses in the time of ancient Romans. Shallow appeasement. This is the message I get from seeing Ms Taylor, Mr, Sprignsteen and others at the conventions of Mrs. Harris.

Whereas, when I see Mr. Musk at the convention of Mr, Trump, my thought goes to 'pure genius', 'pure efficiency', 'assured economical development'.

When I see Mrs. Gabbard at trump's conventions, I think about 'Thoughtful and sensiblee political reasonings'.

Steve, you can say I'm old-fashioned, but I would prefer the serious stuff to the panem et circenses proposed by Mrs. harris.

Wiki quote:
Quote
"Bread and circuses" (or bread and games; from Latin: panem et circenses) is a metonymic phrase referring to superficial appeasement. It is attributed to Juvenal (Satires, Satire X), a Roman poet active in the late first and early second century AD, and is used commonly in cultural, particularly political, contexts.

In a political context, the phrase means to generate public approval, not by excellence in public service or public policy, but by diversion, distraction, or by satisfying the most immediate or base requirements of a populace,[1] by offering a palliative: for example food (bread) or entertainment (circuses). Juvenal originally used it to decry the "selfishness" of common people and their neglect of wider concerns.[2][3][4] The phrase implies a population's erosion or ignorance of civic duty as a priority.

Mccoy I have given attention to most, if not all your opinions and contributions. Since you have changed the subject here to one that only tenuously or no longer applies to Stephen King ( he has also written a non fiction book whereas Musk has no such credentials) and have made a comparison with Musk and many other world figures I have responded to your comments about Elon Musk on a new topic, which also makes a comparison of Musk with a great spirit of the century as my response to your comment here above. Please press the link below to arrive at what I consider a more applicable comparison to the role this site plays in spiritual development and understanding.

Dear Friends,

I want you to check out "Elon Musk and Amma; a comparison of acts of kindness/contributions to humanity’" on Spiritual Portal.  To view it, please click this link:

Steve, back to the topic.

The above quote from Mr. King is funny but at the same time is an example of a logical fallacy.

More precisely, his undeniable skills in writing horror stories do not entail skills in being clairvoyant, in foreseeing the future, even though putatively horrific.

He makes an appeal to authority but his authority entails only book-writing, not political forecasting.

Actually he doesn’t need to forecast all you have to do is look at dishonest dons criminal record which his cloned self picked buddies excused him from in the Supreme Court. Listen to his speech’s dear friend Lucca. He has already said he will seek retribution. How does this fit into any spiritual attitude in government?
