After all these years of waiting I am getting to reading Paramahansa Yogananda’s interpretation of Revelations in the Bible. Yogananda asserts that Genesis, the Gospels and Revelations are the most important parts of the Bible.

I have read those interpretations and they are absolutely stunning from the spiritual standpoint. The classic bible is the vestige of a barbarian society in full Kali Yuga.
The beginning of John's gospel is incredible and its mere reading elevates the mind above the material world.
The Revelation needs detailed interpretation and Yogananda, AFAIK, is the only one to have been able to come up with a sensible model.

Thanks for reminding these uplifting readings, I'll have to follow suit.
