It is fortunate that the Dems, at last, decided to push away Mr. Biden, it would have been the best gift to Trump to leave him as a candidate and the sign that something exceptionally wrong was going on in America.

I don't know if the vice president has been the best choice, people here (the Italian democrats) are celebrating as if the Messiah has descended on earth and as if Harris has already won the elections. I understand it's all relief for the escaped danger, but Trump is not the dead horse that Biden was.
