An electoral college is a set of electors who are selected to elect a candidate to particular offices. Often these represent different organizations, political parties or entities, with each organization, political party or entity represented by a particular number of electors or with votes weighted in a particular way. The United States has been the only democracy in the 21st century that still uses an electoral college to select its executive president. The other democracies that used an electoral college for these elections switched to direct elections in the 19th or 20th century.[1]:215

You could ask this question of any candidate, especially Hilary Clinton and Al Gore who won by popular votes but lost by the electoral college. As you may have guessed, I believe this system is clearly antiquated. I doubt that Italy has such a system.

Looking at the presidents that won by electoral votes and lost by popular votes, it appears clear to me that the general public as a whole have more wisdom then isolated and perhaps more uneducated states.

I would rather retort, God should have enlightened more masses to elect Biden, insofar as to reach an overwhelming, not an unsubstantial majority.

Mccoy check the records, Biden won by the largest majority in presidential history….over 7 million. But I do not see that you should have enough interest in American politics to make an educated comment.

Steve, while it is true that the absolute difference would seem substantial, in relative terms Biden took 51.3% of the votes, whereas Trump took 46.8, which is not such a huge difference. On the contrary, if the numbers are those cited on Wikipedia, the difference in relative terms, or percentage, is pretty small.

So it seems that Satan blinded a substantial number of Americans in such a way that Biden did not get an overwhelming majority and America was divided almost 50-50.

Many Americans succeded in avoiding Satan's influence, but a vast number had their discrimination obfuscated and voted for the weird tycoon full of braggadocio.

Not only weird boogaloo mccoy but he brought all his far right moral-so called majority-with him by condemning others for their rights to make their own choices in life and not those of a fake evangelical political group. Trump and his MAGA followers are neither moral or the majority. Just a passing cult movement. Which nevertheless pose a grave threat to democracy in the world. As other nations no longer see the United Clones as a beacon light for the free world but rather a joke in the making and a laughing stock for comic strip humor.

That's a sensible answer. Being gay does not authorize to exhibit unrestrained immoral behaviour.
