CULTIVATE A CLOSE PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH THE GURU
• We need a spiritual companion that says, “I am there. I will help you. You will be alright” This is the guru. You must cultivate a close personal relationship with the guru. This is one of the most important tasks of the disciple. He is there but you must cultivate it. This is very important. ,,,

• A couple of weeks later I had a strong desire to learn about my past incarnations. Out of nowhere, a technique that allowed me to do this mysteriously made itself known to me. I used it and went into my prior incarnations. There came a knock on the door. “Master wants to see you, now.” I went to see him. Before I told him anything, he said, “I don’t want you to look back. If you do, you will identify with it. You can go now.” It was a quick operation! He was right. I would have wasted a lot of time. How did I get that technique? I am convinced he gave it to me. I have never touched it again.

A DEVOTEE’S LAST INCARNATION
• A devotee always came to Convocation. He was at Master’s last convocation. He came to say good-by to the monks after Convocation was over. Brother Anandamoy was there with master at the time. As the devotee walked away, Master said, “Good-bye.” He turned around with bowed head and folded hands. Master said this is his last incarnation. He will not be back. That man did not have the slightest idea how far along he was and neither do you! Only Master knows!

We should always think of the needs and interests of others, especially when they are helpful. I know your connection to Brother Anandamoy mccoy. You most likely had a connection with him in another life. But I find it interesting in the notes here that Paramahansa Yogananda said “ I don’t want you looking back”, “You will identify with it.” Look at the way Anandamoy walks up to a podium. I believe he was a king. Maybe 🤔 we also were meant to see this.
