Mexican mangos are delicious and that price is extremely affordable.
Here good tree-ripened mangoes are flown from Brasil but are pretty expensive, at 5-6 US$ per piece.
We have somewhat of relief on the prices of fruit in the summer because it is grown so much in the states. Mangos are now as low as $1.00 a piece. And many other fruits grown right here have dropped tremendously in price. This makes it a good time of year to embrace a Sri Yukteswar type diet that is mentioned in the Autobiography and the Holy Science.
I find myself eating less and less wheat and legumes, and embracing yogurt with maple syrup or honey and fresh fruits. It is a lighter more spiritual diet and keeps my weight lower also.
