Ajna Center or Chakra

The center above and between the two physical eyes. The third eye, or center of will. There are three states  of consciousness; subconsciousness, when the body is in sleep. Consciousness when the mind perceives the out side world and super consciousness, when the mind absorbs itself in spirit and is connected with the divine; the ajna center.

While meditating it is a good practice to keep the gaze and attention towards the ajna center. Because looking downward you begin to nod off. Looking level is full of material perceptions. Looking upward is opening yourself for spiritual awareness.
