Top 10 Countries With The Largest Contribution Of Garbage In The Ocean

Pollution dominates the world’s oceans and these bodies of water are in a very precarious situation along with the marine life in them. Undeniably, plastic pollution contributes the most harm. Plastics may have made modern life easier to the detriment of the planet.

There are around 8 million metric tons of garbage swirling in the ocean and these ten countries are the top contributors of plastic waste in our waters:

Can we consider any of these countries as supporters of the world? Or are they just destroying Mother Earth? Literally parasites to our planet? How much are we supporting others on our planet? Do we as individuals use plastic every day? Or do we make a conscious effort to recycle it? Do we cause constant air pollution with air flights and driving or do we make attempts to use other means of transportation as in bicycles, horses etc. Do we eat products that do not rape the forests of the earth to raise and kill cattle or or do we eat vegetarian foods that protect the earth and the air we breathe? Important questions to ask when we consider we create our own environment; either now or in the future.
