Entitlement in those around us.

Entitlement in the use I’m here describing is; the belief that one is inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment. Often we may find ourselves in the company of people or friends that feel entitled to our services. Or worst yet we ourselves may show entitlement towards those who have helped us. I have found that an issue recently in my life because my spiritual practices are deteriorating because I spend too much time trying to help others. Those who seemingly have no sense of the need I have for my own time for fulfillment of my own life and spiritual practices. In this way the drama that other people create for their own enjoyment becomes our drama…. Not a situation we originally intended.
