While I have yet to see any definitive evidence of the center of our 24,000 year cycle around an orbit that Sri Yukteswar has described in his holy science; It is becoming more clear to me that this idea has been around much before we have even imagined. And Alcyone is clearly one of the most influential proponents of that celestial phenomena from a historical perspective. Will science attempt to prove this or an alternative theory? It appears to me that like the mystics of the ages, we are most clearly ahead of our times because of faith as a quality that enhances our ability to understand our place in this unfolding drama; Often surpassing the slow progress of science in its proud accomplishments many of which have yet been seen to even find the light of day.
