Delayed karma is the reason some people do not accept this model. They say that one person ned to be punished soon to underline his or her sin.

But, as Yogananda says, this would deprive freedom of power. If we know that the punishment to action is immediately provided by God's law of KArma, almost everyone, but the madmen and the over impulsive would automatically be restrained.
