Some people need to have the obsequious servitude of others to relieve their own insecurities and to reinforce their ego desires. It is important to have this recognition when we find ourselves on the verge of fawning those with such ego fractures that seek the compliments of others.

On a similar note I had a dream this morning that a friend came up to me and threw small pellets of snow down my neck while abruptly walking away and saying it was a ‘a pay back for what I had thrown at him’. I was immediately left in a quandary since I recalled doing nothing to him.
