Intereststs; Meditation/Spiritual Life

« on: Dec 12, 2023 05:46 pm »

I've had such street-hobo's whispers myself. It is a question of one's open ears. Yet, in positing oneself as an astrologer lies a great karmical danger, Steve.

Quite often I do not even need to check the stars and planets. I just get hunches about what’s going to happen to someone and tell them they should be careful but they at times do not listen and what I say to be cautious about happens to them. Astrology just reaffirms my hunches; If I were to check. On the contrary I think that not warning people posits the larger threat. And telling someone they have opportunities and it is a good time to make choices can also be very helpful. The karmic danger of not helping others and yourself when difficult times arrive because of karmic factors is the real abuse of intuition and astrological configurations… if you are aware of them. And though psychologists and spiritual healers do the same, without the knowledge of Gods laws and signs sprawled across the heavens they may be very limited in their abilities of making sense of problems and gifts.

Not only do I meditate, pray and use astrology to understand the life of others and myself but I often see other signs around me. For instance; in completing this post I noticed it as 11:11 which is also a sign from another quarter that made me feel what I had just posted was helpful to everyone seeing and reading this thread…. And I also had a de ja vu experience about someone, which I’m
not about to ignore.

People who do not care to listen have that option and those having a different opinion about astrology are welcome to use the methods suited for them. It is more likely to pose a danger to oneself to criticize or judge others when they may disagree but are able to grow and improve their lives in their own ways which is perfectly fine by me.

P.S. Eric, I appreciate your insights below.

We are deluded into thinking God does not speak to us in every instance- God is all there is. It is we who do not see or hear, master or no master. The difference in understanding a message or not has everything to do with our Ego. When we begin to see every moment as Miraculous, belonging to God, we start to understand the message. And He can use any one or any thing to deliver it. The question is not whether he is speaking- but whether or not we are listening.

"You do not have to struggle to reach God,
but you do have to struggle to tear away
the self-created veil that hides him from you."

-Paramahansa Yogananda

"There is only one virtue
          and only one sin
for a soul on the path:
virtue when he is conscious of God
and sin when he is not."

-Abu Hashim Madani

After reading Eric’s entry here and what you have written UWE ….

So, IMO we shouldn't call our astrologer, but the Lord himself to redeem us of our own self-made miseries.

Just sayin'.

I would say I agree but as I have also many challenges of my own and I need to for instance ask mechanics to help me with fixing my car, and technicians to fix all the musical instruments and equipment I have a responsibility for. Like wise many people have difficulties with other people that they need to understand. God does not help in direct ways about everything. He expects us to take the initiative and find help from others as well.

So you see I studied to be a psychologist in college and worked in the field for years. And to think 🤔 that astrology can just be thrown out of the field, is actually synonymous to thinking God can be thrown out of the equation of Psychology. Why? Because God’s Divine plan can be seen, to some degree, in astrology but not as easily in psychology. In fact there are many types of psychology that had no place for a God. As in Behavioral Psychology. When I went to college the professor called it; superstitious behavior. So in fact I would take just the opposite view of what you stated above ‘this body’. Positing one self as an astrologer actually supports a good karmic view of God, and is good karma. Kelly once had a psychic book store and Christians did a similar thing to her. It is called witch hunting and making up things about people to railroad them out of town. The bad karma is on them. “A great karmical danger”.
