But nobody criticized the prostitute for having accepted the NDA money and later infringed it. This act and the sexual act was not done while at the office. Former presidents have done it while in the office. They have not been very much persecuted for that though. I believe JFK has not been persecuted at all.

He has been convicted by a verdict of a jury a single time, for irregularities in his accountancy. That was a 1st degree conviction, which would have been probably reversed in appeal.
