I enjoyed the film, I like movies that stimulate constructive reasoning and are thought-challenging. Besides, the figure of very different aliens is always fascinating.
I’m thinking that the thought may originate somewhere deep in our subconscious or that we have forgotten. That is because the Masters have told us our souls have often been in different planetary environments. I often have quite an attraction towards what I’ve heard the Pleiadians look like and act like.
And speaking of thought-challenging Sci-fi, I can think of no other comparison to Solaris the Russian version.
