Eric, my take: Dr. Macie did his (or her) own epidemiological study, but in such a context a study should follow very rigorous procedures and adequate statistical treatment, plus it should be refereed by other experts. The figures are so serious that the case deserves further consideration, but as they are the numbers have little value. They only would point to a hypothesis: in this subgroup there appears to be some elevation of cardiovascular risk after the COVID19 vaccine.
An increase of 973% in heart failure means ten times more heart failure, which is a hell of a lot. That number is suspicious and should be adequately investigated.
