Good morning.

I just want to say, because we share our spiritual interest and personal beliefs here at the *spiritual portal* it does not mean you have us figured out.

Don't you think that it's a little presumptuous to assume you know what we'd do in the scenario you've described?

I've been a member here since 2008-2010... And I have never met Steve, in a way you know him better than I know him, but even then- the only person who knows us best is God.

I've been in many fight or flight situations over the years, and I believe everyone here is worth something to God.

I think we agree on more issues than you know. And I feel the need to remind you that you aren't alone.

The times are such that indeed we are being given an opportunity to grow closer to God and our personal faith. What that means is unique for everybody.

I appreciate your response Eric. It is better than mine would have been or may be within this response . I am not able to respond to all of Jeff’s points above in one paragraph, so I will go over some of the key points he made with my reply.  I’m just not here to defend my spiritual intentions and actions, especially in hypothetical situations. Let me just say that there is a time for peace and a time for action.  I think we really need to be around people for long periods of time to see just how their response is to given situations. As far as ‘sitting around with our thumbs crossed’ as Jeff has mentioned , all I can say is that Jesus wasn’t playing with lizards for 40 days and nights in the wilderness nor was he twiddling his thumbs. Yet he was using his time effectively, wouldn’t you agree?


I hope we are more tolerant of each others spiritual background. I think that is one of the most important aspects of this site because we all come from different spiritual backgrounds and are learning from one another. Jeff you can decide for yourself what has poisoned your brain. Let me make my own choices about that and learn from them. You have told me I need to turn off msn. Can you or anyone really assess what the worth of what we are doing is compared to another man’s worth in the eyes of God? And though you speak of the right training below Jeff you make no reference as to what that training is, we all have come from different backgrounds here with different training methods that suited us individually. What makes you think that your ‘training’ is the ‘right’ training? Lastly I do not sit and ‘hope I get a glimpse of the other side’ but rather experience the spirit within. I do not live on ‘hopes’ but rather experiences I’ve had many times through my life and all of us have to start at some point, with the faith we have been graced.
