I think the film The Covenant, which was a beautiful movie, gives a pretty good illustration. But it isn't hard to find such an example where the USA is accused of abandoning "allies." I often wonder if we were ever their allies to begin with, or if we were there to support our own interest. I am referring to any such promise of friendship with another nation. All of this is in regards to Still Standings comment. I agree with Jeff. In my eyes, Joe Biden is an illegitimate president protected by special interest and is not my leader. And those special interest have just about used him to the point where they too can abandon his protection. I don't have it figured out, this is just a laymans point of view. I think this feeling of, "not my leader" and "not an accurate representation of the will of the people" has long presided over many of us living here in the US. All the more reason I stand with RFK JR and many Spiritual Leaders before him-
We must first resolve to make peace in our home, rather than inflict our will upon others.
No one nation is perfect, I do not make these comments without recognizing the great strides this nation has made. At the same time, I do not pretend this nation is free from abuse of power, decadence or deceit.
I hope you enjoy the song! It really is an amazing song, and if you get to see the movie, an added bonus! OF COURSE, to each their own.
RESPECTFULLY~
