Guess I should start one for the ones you could eat if you wanted too.

This one is a cauliflower mushroom. There are two kinds...and the book said they weren't really around me and I laughed a little. They are both here everywhere with enough rain. They grow at the base of the evergreen trees...pine, fir, cedar, hemlock, etc. Right at the base of them. Don't bother freezing them it ruins them. One of the ones you gotta eat quick I guess. Late Spring to mid summer here....usually.

Look at the sizea that Reishi! This one I guess is edible. Its more medicinal, better made into a tea or tincture or even better a double mushroom extraction. It is kind of tough but you can eat the tender young ones. This one is past that tender stage.

Here are some good Gem-Studded Puffballs. Great big flush of them. I let these grow to get a picture of them for almost too long. They were still good going down these mushrooms have the best flavor of all of them I feel. If you let them get old where the insides are all powdery, you can use the spore powder to coagulate blood. One of the old timey uses they used to use it for. I never did it.

Almost forgot to put these on here. In this post anywho. These are Morels. People around me call them Dry-land fish. I have no idea why. These are black, white, and yellow morels. They all grow together where I find them. Where I am seems to have a place they grow different than anywhere else or something, because NO ONE can find these....And I just look at them funny. Theyre everywhere honeysuckle is. Under it anyways.
