It's unfortunate, and I can assure you times have definitely changed. Standards are so loose now with some of these public schools, I have seen thongs and underboobs- I have seen hair so long, and that same head of hair entirely shaved off on the other side. I say this living next to a public school and working with teenagers. I'm amazed what is permissible nowdays. Of course there are schools and institutions that have their own standard for dress too. I guess it depends where you find your self. We have had to send some of the kids home and instruct them to dress more appropriate for work because they were wearing tight outfits with shirts saying things like, "Daddys princess" and skirts so short you could see their butt. No joke.  This hyper-focused superficial sexuality resulted in unpleasant energy and uncharacteristic behavior from customers and coworkers alike. I'm not talking silly flirtatious advances but worse... and these are children.

My view is that people should take some responsibility for their identity. What is an opinion if there is no one except a :'guest' behind it? It appears that someone has difficulty with their own identity.
