Why O Why do people keep reading false news from sources like apple news, cnn, yahoo, etc.

Granted there's truth woven thru the stories, but it's written in such a one-sided way it's disgusting. These writers should be banned posting stories that twist things to entertainment and disinformation.

Why do people forget this and the next day read crap again?

And suppose you have found correct information where you read. We have plenty of information from various sources available to us here.

Si after giving it some thought, I do think you have a point in the sense that news is presented to us differently than it was during our adolescence. People like Walter Cronkite and Roger Mud are anchorman of the past. Today we have much more journalism than we did in the past with people like Don Lemon, Alex Jones and Tucker Carlson being spokesmen for certain networks in the recent past. News is presented in interviews that represent for instance,  the Fox News owners views. And of course you are not going to get an American view of the news in China and Russia, whereas you still can get a view from Chinese or Russian side here in the states.

This is fckd up. Do they really believe citizens should not make their own decisions and think for themselves when presented with true news?

Please refrain from vulgarity in your language. This site is used to help us all find kindness in our behavioral attitude that all accomplished spiritual aspirants express towards others. You have stated another generalization, with no supporting facts above. I’m asking for specifics. Sweeping statements are not helpful in making an assessment of personal behavior.

You have also not provided specifics here as well. Just your opinion with nothing to back it up. So far, your opinions have a view that appears to demean others providing information for our benefit. But I am open to listening to your views when and if you provide something to support them. If anyone looks above they will see I have found some valid points you have made Jeff, although one gets the feeling from your responses that you react to ‘perceived’ grievances with no specific causes. One gets the feeling that a person with such views has an obstinately uncooperative attitude. It is a character trait that I’m attempting to understand because you have contributed much to our site Jeff. I will say this; I have found many behavioral characterizations i find in others is in ourselves, this applies to both of us.

What I see is because it is the programming tool for people. I do not carry a control box. If you pay attention and think back a little bit you can most definitely see a change in people...and it happens with the advertisement they are constantly subjected to. I go to the computer for info and looking around a little bit...then I shut the box off and unhook it from the wall. FOR A REASON. These things they are calling phones are not exactly that anymore. They are computers. Tracking modules. Look at ALL of the CHINESE AND IRANIAN and the other things with licenses that you carry around with you at all times. Then do a quick google search on the names of them and then start putting things all together. We are doomed. They ADVERTISE junk all the time..true and untrue things. To keep us all guessing. I know one thing. I will NEVER trust this government. I KNOW they are not my government and they are the same people my family fought hundreds of years ago to get away from in Europe. They are brainwashed into listening like our bodies are brainwashed into eating more. From ingesting the junk in the first place. Look at people and listen to them now. It is getting worse. You have to remove yourself from them and look on them from a distance to see what I am talking about.

I don't need to prove or provide evidence to you. You spout things all the time as if they are universal truths that cannot be argued. When they are in fact opinions as well. And, get this, no evidence to back it up.

Sorry that will not be happening. I quote your posts to show you and others what I’m responding to and so everyone can make their own assessment. Not just yours or mine. Anyone can respond to any ones threads here. That is what makes this place an open place for discussion. I only ask that we treat one another with respect and recognize we have a common spiritual bond here. Yes you can Jeff but I appreciate it when people quote so I know what they are referring to without guess work. And those viewing from the outside also can understand what is being responded to. I never said you have to quote but I doubt that you could create a forum and ask members not to quote what they are referring to in a thread. You are welcome to create one if you’d like. I personally like that capability we have here. It gives clarity in expression.
