No. Even if they were I won't tell you to try it. Eating the wrong ones will make you very sick. Some also will kill you out right. Dead. The bad thing that comes with mushrooms, that I feel make it so dangerous the stories everyone remembers and don't know why, is after your body ingests them, there is no saving you. It isn't necessarily the mushroom but what the mushroom becomes when it metabolizes in your system. When it does that, man does not have a way to stop it. It is just allowed to run its course. There are a few like the Death Angel that looks like puffballs when they are immature. Just like them. Deadly poisonous. If you mess up and eat the wrong one it will mean your life so make sure you have identified it correctly. And even then just eat a very small piece at first so just in case you only ingest a little bit. Solid white ones with caps...little brown ones...DONT EAT THEM. Little brown mushrooms have a history of killing people as well.
