What I find more interesting than the issues you have just discussed Eric is the amount of energy you have put into what seems more cosmetic to me. I think if ‘mother’ would have questioned me for the way I described someone I would have just said to her; well we both know mother has the best way to identify people right mom? I suppose she could then say I was being sarcastic and I would grin and say ‘Yes’. And the laugh it off.
But quite frankly Eric not so long ago I grew up with a blatantly racist father and that was one reason for the divorce. So racism is very clear and apparent to me. Especially since having a past life in the south and being murdered by racists for freeing slaves it is very real to me. I can give you many examples of very explicit racism I’ve encountered all this life as well. But then would make any difference to you? And racism is not just limited to color as you have said yourself above. Let’s look at the ‘racism’ that the Russians under Stalin perpetrated on the tarters after WWII no wonder Zelinski speaks of getting every inch of Crimea back.
Think of it this way Eric…just asking you to give a moment of reflection. Let’s read our two scripts again. You are being patient now. Did I ever say or mean you are being hung up about it? I do think you are sharing your views and as you may have noticed your entry below gives a mixed message. On the one hand you say I’m just ‘simply commenting’ on the other hand you said that ‘I’m not as hung up on it as you think.’ Do you really know what I think? Please if you think so don’t assume that you do. This is what I think so far as I have already mentioned… “I think it is interesting that you put much more energy in a matter that I see as more cosmetic.” That is my observation only so far Brother Eric. It appears to me that like me you have some deep rooted feelings about these issues. That is what I’m attempting to point out. As to why; I have not made any attempt at conclusion. Just making observations as we often do as yogis.
It goes a lot deeper than, "better be careful what we say" there's an entire psychological warfare behind it and if you're here to tell my I'm wasting my energy I can kindly tell you your advice is unwarranted. I am simply commenting as you have- I am not as hung up about it as you think. Maybe venting a little. I am just stating my experience and sharing my views as anyone who participates on a forum might expect.
