Neptune has the affect of slowly pulling a rug from underneath you as it dissolves and erodes at what it touches and where it is in relation to a persons personal planets and it’s house position in transit and Nataly.
Since in the recent past (last year or so) it has been squaring your natal Jupiter in the first house of your environment and affected the house of communication for you… it was obvious to me that it was one of the elements taking place.
The slow dissolution of communication with Neptune in the third transiting I believe was also represented by the dissolving of Yogananda.org for the time being. Also Saturn making an entrance in this house brings more lessons in how you communicate. These two planets are quite different in their expressions. Neptune idealizing and spiritualizing, and at the same time dissolving old ways. Saturn brings a more realistic approach to communication and how the mind functions, while bringing out karmic factors.

And actually I may be feeling the influence of Saturn, starting to communicate with more abilities and more insights and more pragmatically and realistically as you write. Maybe it's accumulated age, but indeed Saturn is casting its influence.
