Kriya upon wakening

I remember chatting with the monastics about Kriya upon awakening, although I do not recall there being reference to it in the SRF lessons, I do find this to be helpful in Kriya practice. It is sometimes more advantageous to practice as soon as possible upon awakening sometimes skipping all other meditation techniques and exercises. The reason being that the consciousness is still interiorized from the nights sleep and because of that it is often easier to get into the spine with kriya practice.
