Body; Battles with the Body

I often have battles with this body. It wants to tell me it is real, but the soul tells me it is not true and ‘you have just accepted that to be true.’  There are also many people out there who are like tramp souls. They are imposters hi jacking other peoples bodies. This can be seen on dating sites but also on tremendous projection of our desires on others who we would like to emulate or live out their roles. It is even characterized after this life in tramp spirits who are either attached to the roles they played here or the roles and pleasures that others have experienced. We have moments when we are very attached to our bodies and it’s roles, and other moments when we are free and accepting of the fact that we are much more.

In the human predicament we also find our solace from others that we identify with their bodies and certain personality quirks that they exhibit. Some of these come from the souls individuality that we are attracted to and find difficult to resist, if indeed they should be resisted. At times we can see the mechanism of repulsion and attraction manifesting in those we meet and find us attractive but at other times find themselves repulsed by their own desires in regards to us.

It is somewhat as though we know we have chosen these bodies to work out our desires, yet we also recognize the limitations of satisfying such desires. Because the soul is still in search of its larger purpose and experiences with spirit. We may find the pull of other souls in our life who return to us after resisting their attraction to us. This is because they themselves have similar battles within themselves. Although they may not be conscious of these inner turmoils.

Meditation can give us momentary breaks from this struggle as spirit manifests. Although we also recognize we bring our struggles and daily thoughts with us into our meditation as well. This is part of the recognition that…where ever we go, there we are.
