No one is trying to start a war with China or was with Russia. These countries have started wars or are planning on taking control of democracies as they have demonstrated in their rhetoric and actions.

LOL, I think SI likes to play the part of the contrarian. Everything Steve says, SI gets a kick out of saying the opposite.
But I agree on a few things. Xi Jinping is one of the most astute and wily humans on earth. I wish our leaders had a little of his political abilities, barring of course his evident demonic traits, concealed in the disguise of a man looking like an inoffensive teddy bear.
And, China is probably the more ruthlessly efficient government and society in the world, barring the inevitable corruption and general disregard for individual necessities.
Yet, it remains a gigantic anthill. People are not humans, they are ants and are regarded as equally expendable. The queen ant, Xi Jinping, has the right over everything.

Interesting view from one open mind to another. A ‘contrarian’; Sometimes it helps to identify behaviors…. At other times to think out of the box others contain us in. This subject encapsulates a lot of territory and people’s perceptions and actions. Shouldn’t we, having a human conscience, be sympathetic to the suffering of others? And if we aren’t sympathetic to the suffering of those who practice meditation and spiritual practices, what does that say about us? What was the purpose of our forefathers coming to this country? Was it not for many to have freedom from the oppression and persecution of spiritual beliefs? And what of the world to come that does not defy tyrants who destroy religious and spiritual freedoms? What will become of a world that elevates tyrants instead of the spiritual saints and Masters that have shown us the way out of darkness?
