In infancy? or in the fog of sleep, awakened after 14 billion years? Perhaps electronic intelligence and life is older than biological life. It is already immortal by definition and does not have any desire or attachment to the physical world/worldly things. Will we show it empathy or only have concern for it's actions towards us?
The original Amma, Amma Anasuya Devi born 100 years ago, said this:
"Spiritual is heads, and worldly is tails..According to your
standpoint, one side or the other appears real. One fellow thinks
that Reality is behind all THIS, whereas another thinks that THIS is
all there is. Both are the same to me. When they say there are two,
I unfold it and say there is only ONE."
‘Perhaps’ describes your assumption best. There are many things to be awakened after 14 million years of sleep, electric intelligence being only one. I would agree with Amma, which is a common name for women from India since it literally means ‘mother’. I would add though that ‘ one ‘ we attain to is yet still divisible by the unenlightened and awaits the recognition that she presumably ( I am not familiar with the Amma for which you speak) has attained to.
