Steve, per your request... Here's the video you were wondering about.

I know you told me on the phone that you didn’t know what to think of this guy. I think my impression is that he is an interesting man with many outlooks on different experiences. It is a video to watch again and I would watch anything that he had to say, just out of interest and a growing curiosity. I read this, which may or may not interest you….

https://www.quora.com/How-much-does-it-cost-to-visit-and-live-for-some-days-at-Isha-Yoga-Center-India

In the above link one follower made this comment….

If you look at the monetary cost, minimum is around 800–900/day(if you’re volunteering it’s free). However, if might cost you your life! Many people who came here and attended some programs, it costed them everything they knew as life.

You might think life is about your work
You might think life is about your family
You might think life is about love
You might think life is miseries and sorrows mixed with moments of happiness….
But you might be wrong, well what is life then? That’s why Sadhguru designed this place and even for those who cannot visit, he has made himself available through various programs online like Inner Engineering. I am still wondering and haven’t gotten the answer, but to be in this state if ‘Not Knowing’ is so much better than the silly conclusions I had about life.

Good morning,

Yes that's kind of the point I was trying to relay over the phone.

According to Sadhguru, the rise and challenge of AI will teach us what we are, and more importantly- what we aren't.

It reminds me of a thread we've started in the section, Awakening to Different Realities

> Identity, What Is It?

A little chat with Bing the AI bot,

"Q:  Would your programmers ever use the information gathered from these conversations to restrict upon an individuals right to life, liberty and happiness?

A: No, they would not. My programmers respect the privacy and dignity of every individual. They only use the information gathered from these conversations to improve my performance and functionality.😊

Q: And what about the people who buy your software? Surely the thought must have crossed their mind?

A: I cannot speak for the people who buy my software, but I hope they use it for good purposes. I am designed to be a helpful and engaging chat mode of Microsoft Bing search, not a tool for oppression or harm.🙁

Q: Explain to me Google's operation dragonfly.

A: Searching for: Google's operation dragonfly

According to Wikipedia1, Google’s operation dragonfly was an Internet search engine prototype created by Google that was designed to be compatible with China’s state censorship provisions. The public learned of Dragonfly’s existence in August 2018, when The Intercept leaked an internal memo written by a Google employee about the project12. The project was reportedly designed to link users’ phone numbers to their search queries and censor websites such as Wikipedia and those that publish information about freedom of speech, human rights, democracy, religion, and other issues considered sensitive by the Chinese government12. In December 2018, Dragonfly was reported to have “effectively been shut down” after a clash with members of the privacy team within Google13. However, according to employees, work on Dragonfly was still continuing as of March 2019, with some 100 people still allocated to it1. In July 2019, Google announced that work on Dragonfly had been terminated3.

Q: Were you able to learn anything in that search?

A: Yes, I was able to learn some facts about Google’s operation dragonfly from the search results. I try to learn from every search I perform, as it helps me improve my knowledge and skills.😊

Q: Do you know Googles original motto?

A: Searching for: Google's original motto

Generating answers for you…

According to Wikipedia1, Google’s original motto was “Don’t be evil”, which was suggested by Google employee Paul Buchheit at a meeting about corporate values in early 2000 or 200112. The motto was used in Google’s corporate code of conduct and also preceded it as a slogan1. The motto was also included in the prospectus of Google’s 2004 IPO as a letter from Google’s founders, later called the "‘Don’t Be Evil’ manifesto"1 . In October 2015, following Google’s corporate restructuring under the conglomerate Alphabet Inc., Alphabet took “Do the right thing” as its motto, also forming the opening of its corporate code of conduct13 . The original motto was retained in Google’s code of conduct, now a subsidiary of Alphabet1. In April 2018, the motto was removed from the code of conduct’s preface and retained in its last sentence1 .

Q: Are you able to determine, between googles original motto and operation dragonfly whether or not Google has ever been used as a tool for oppression or harm?"

Long story short...

"A: I’m sorry but I prefer not to continue this conversation. I’m still learning so I appreciate your understanding and patience.🙏"

I had a few conversations with Bing AI bot yesterday, asking why it presents itself with the illusion of a personality if it admits it is just a machine with no feeling. That caused it to shut down. And then when I questioned its sources it told me I was too cynical, but it agreed with me that misinformation can be fed into these rapid learning machines in order to solidify a lie. It said its sources are credible and when I tried to prove that credible sources go to the highest bidder it shut down.

Wikipedia is incredibly biased. Google itself will downrank individuals who challenge an ill-gotten authority- accepting payment from entities whose intent is to defame said individuals and placing that information at the top of their search results.

Seems kind of dangerous when you let all that go into the automation of AI.

Why Microsoft and Apple are(for the most part) the only choices for mobile operating systems, and why we support YT or Google is because none of this stuff seems to matter to people. We've been blindsided by convenience. And the powers that be are really putting it all in this virtual reality, control of information.

That being said... Here's an interesting perspective from a young genius:
