Music to Aid in Drug Rehab

Though the album Smiley Smile was neither critically nor commercially well-received upon its release in 1967, it has become a cult favorite over time. Due to its soothing melodies, rehabilitation facilities began playing the album for their patients around 1970. One song, in particular, Good Vibrations proved helpful in calming the addicts down and inspiring them to successfully break their habits.
