The above is a good illustration of these transitional times, with a fast evolution in intellect and science but a much slower adaptation by some societies and consequent pockets of ignorance, oppression, and poverty. Still pretty far from Treta and Satya.
Yes, in Kali Yuga mankind is confined to the world of gross matter. We are only a few hundred years beyond that kind of ignorance. The mind is still centered upon the problems of material existence. Yet an understanding of the finer elements of matter have taken many of us out of the grave of matter, and into an understanding of expressions of energy and vibration. The second limiting factor of maya is becoming overcome. The element of the belief in materialism being the first and the second being the concept of space which will be annihilated later in this Dwapara Yuga.
During the Kali Yuga nature was seen as only a means by which to survive and conquer. Now for many of us here, we have a reverence for her and seek to protect her and nourish her. Because, she resonates with an aura of peace at night in the desert. Vibrates with sound waves that calm the restless mind from streams and rivers. Sounds of om resonate from the ocean and high in the trees and the mountains .We also see other human beings as no longer to be used as only a means by which to satisfy desires but also as vibratory frequencies affecting our own state of being and mind…. Affecting our souls progress or conversely deterring our progress through unwitting drama and dissonance from the social maya that permeates the social perspective of the ignorant masses; People walking in their sleep like in the dream reality that surrounds us.
