A knocking sound

What did Jesus mean when He said, 'I stand at the door and knock' (Revelation 3:20)?

Revelation 3:20 says: "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me." This verse is commonly used as an example of Jesus seeking out non-believers, which He certainly does: "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost" (Luke 19:10). In this particular verse, however, Jesus is seeking out people within the church.

I wonder if anyone else has heard such a sound or also someone whispering your name as if to wake you up? Perhaps 🤔 to meditate and pray.

When I was a child I felt someone so close to me it scared me. I couldn't see who, but they whispered my name and I felt the breath against my ear. No one was there. I was so scared I pulled the blanket over my head and asked whatever it was to stop and go away. It did, but years later life would grant me opportunities to test my fears and help me understand ways in which communication with unseen intelligence manifest.

Either am I Eric I have just found certain passages that correspond with what I’ve experienced. I certainly look forward to seeing the film you have on prophecy. Many people today, we have met and read about, are prophetic. Prophecy is not in any way confined to the Bible. Although people in our culture seem to gravitate and obsess about Biblical prophecy. It just shows how difficult it is to accept that there are people in this age just as spiritually evolved as in other times. In many cases more so because much of the Bible was written in the Kali Yuga. We are now in the Dwapara Yuga. A higher age when meditation and psychic experiences are looked upon more favorably than most times in the Bible.
