Bad Dreams

Sometimes we must separate ourselves from some of our dreams. We are not our dreams and not all our dreams are happy.

It's true, it has been advised by even Yogananda to do so in order to frame our minds towards Liberation. In other words, sometimes these things are a distraction- especially when the answers aren't so clear. Personally, I do not believe them a distraction but sometimes I choose not to remember details or give too much energy to them. I am and always will be fond of dreams.

We aren't just our dreams though and we aren't just our physical bodies either. Sometimes "bad dreams" are worth navigating and recording. The more you log, even the absurd and undesirable dreams- the easier it is to find a theme being presented, a lesson imparted, or a message from the subconscious all of which are meant to provide insight and opportunity. Consciousness is not limited to a linear expression.
