I think we can decide for ourselves where are various friendships are taking us; whether towards a life of more meditation, psychic and spiritual practice or away from such practices. We often have to diagnose if maya is pulling us away from our goals or towards the blessings we have been given that are practiced and nourished. We can also pray about such matters.
