My Aunt

It's important that I listen when one is expressing their attitude towards life with an open and sincere heart. My Aunt is a wonderful friend and a Christian. She believes in the prophecy of an end time foretold thousands of years ago. She see's the globalist dominion as one of greed and slavery. She believes slavery is a low-tier expression and that the devil is very real and a master of deceit. She believes the devil a beautiful angelic being who was at one point very close to God. My Aunt has always been a support system and, for the most part, respects our differences- even when she felt challenged by Eastern ideology. I recognized early on it was not in my interest to push for common ground between my interest in Hinduism or Yogananda and her interest in biblical study. It was only important for me to see the commonality and to allow her to explore her desired expression.
In many ways we share a very similar opinion, that digital identification and the collapse of the dollar will happen- that America has been attacked from within and that world elites are interested in uniform control and depopulation. When I spoke with her on the phone she imparted something in me without having to say much.

She told me, because she believes in the end times- that she is no longer caught up in the drama of the world. Knowing that what we're going through today has been prophesized so very long ago- she has made peace with the fact that evil will run amok and that destruction will reach ungodly proportions. She does not belong to that world. The single most important thing for her now is to develop her relationship with God. She believes in strengthening her Faith, her personal relationship with God and that when her incarnation here ends- her life will go on.

Without realizing I was becoming entangled in the worlds drama, her conviction helped set me straight... She helped me dive into my Yoga practice and frame my attitude before entering meditation. I am very grateful for my call with her and see the importance of accepting while simultaneously expanding so that my internal compass is always guiding me towards Samadhi.

And now I wish to ask a question here... as the thought crossed my mind. It has become rather habitual and reactionary to share news that aligns with our interest and affirms our beliefs. It seems no matter the path one chooses, there is something *out there* willing to acknowledge something inside us, and we hope to keep that information alive- perhaps an article or another person articulates something we've had trouble piecing together- or that we wish for others to see what is is we're aligned with...

My question is, are we strengthening our karmic shackles by focusing so much on the drama of the world? Or by wishing for others to see things the way we might see them, specifically in regards to news or political views? I don't think there's anything wrong with finding content interesting or even sharing it here- but sometimes I wonder if doing so is pulling us away from experiencing oneness with God? In recognizing the miracle behind every moment? There's a rarely seen, divine intelligence around us- the matrix is in a kaleidoscopic state of possibility, our awareness manifest realization. Where does our fellowship reside? And our we engaging Illusion towards God-realization?

As an example, my Fellowship with mccoy currently arises on the subject of the Yugas and understanding them. Which i have a much clearer view since reading all of the material associated with it. And the material that comes from different sources and perspectives. We can agree to disagree and i am comfortable with that. Are you Eric?

Of course, I am asking in a way that might promote productivity towards our deeper and common goal. I know we meditate together on Sundays, and it is important that I call you from time to time. Our exchange over the phone often turns into its own satsang. Steve, do you have Zoom? Maybe you, mccoy and I can get together on Zoom every so often? Or maybe we make a dedicated prayer time Tuesday evenings... Wishing for the peace and happiness of members here? Just some ideas.

There are parts of me that would still very much like to share topics of interest that would no doubt disturb others mental state. Mccoy and Steve, would you be open to coming together on a set time to pray for one another? When is a decent time that we can unite our prayers- while mccoy lives in Italy and we live here in the US?

Tuesday and Sundays are my days off. Any time 12PM central on these days is sufficient for me to engage in a formal practice.
