Instant Gratification and Kindness

My experience with most people, although not all, is on first meeting them; they seek instant gratification of some sort or another to sustain the relationship. It is an interesting phenomena of time, that enduring relationships usually grow gradually. And are not sustained by instant gratification and reciprocity.
