There are a couple important points here;

I have seen such type of lights from our earthly planet. Lights traveling at tremendous speeds. Like streaks in the sky. Also wonder if they are physical in nature or masses of light as Sri Yukteswar describes above.

The dwellers on Hiranyaloka are highly developed spiritually; all of them had acquired, in their last earth-incarnation, the meditation-given power of consciously leaving their physical bodies at death. Obviously very few of us are consciously leaving our physical bodies at death. There are many unsatisfied desires we bring with us as we travel to the astral cosmos. These desires being yet unsatisfied linger with us and draw us back here on this and other physical planets, so they can be fulfilled in one way or the other. By this I mean, either actually experiencing the desires we seek or by transcending them through feeling and experiencing higher states of consciousness that render more base desires unnecessary.
