Intereststs; Meditation/Spiritual Life

« on: Apr 28, 2022 02:42 am »

I think the point is that one dimensional religious approaches only propagate the original problem of Jesus .
that  the Biblical scholars of the time could not accept that a ‘lowly’ Jesus who was born to a carpenter could be the ‘King’ they we’re looking for. In the same way most Christians today cannot accept that a Hindu monk or female saint could be a spiritual giant and Master today. No not from a ‘impoverished’ nation like India with myriad ‘Gods’. Similarly, in the past, not from a being born in a animal stall in an insignificant town like Bethlehem. Nor can they even begin to fathom why or how hours of meditation done by millions of people can change the world. I have met such people who even snear at the notion that it has any practical value. Because of that, this life it is near impossible they will ever understand the benefits of for instance Kriya Yoga.

Consequently you have Christian zealots pronouncing a half baked notion of spirituality affecting every aspect of their life and those around them, minimizing the capabilities of others who’s spiritual influence and contributions to social awareness and spiritual practices and understanding is way beyond the one dimensional consciousness of such people. Their social models reflecting such limited understanding and approaches to spiritual and social awareness based on one religion and it’s myriad creeds and dogmas. Thus we have people who make snap judgements based on indoctrinated information from gab, infra-wars and other sites that reflect such limited perspectives. And sudden proclamations about those of different views being  ‘idiots’ or ‘children’ that you or anyone else doesn’t have the patience to ‘help’. This type of attitude leads to patronizing others and increased ego with a lack of humility, which is the basis of all spiritual attributes in those we aspire to emulate. I have seen these views being used to justify the persecution of ‘weirdos’ by destroying their businesses, imprisonment with false accusations and stigmatizing others with different views that don’t reflect the norm into ‘ social outcasts’ of society. This is the influence and the danger of narratives created by a society that are accepted into a religious norm or political norm in other countries. It leads to labeling those who to do not fit the norm as having psychological problems that need to be addressed with various psychotropics and therapeutic techniques to to reintegrate or re-educate them into the prevailing mental influence of a sick society.
